Red

Made with the autochthonous Tinta de Toro variety, whose ampelographic characteristics are similar to the Tempranillo or Tinto Fino varieties, but which, thanks to having been in the area for several centuries, identify it with its own name and personality, different to its fellow grapes.

Use of the word “CRIANZA” on the back label: the wine must be a minimum of two calendar years old and have spent a minimum period of six months in an oak container.

Use of the word “RESERVA” on the back label: the wine must be a minimum of three calendar years old, during which time it is subject to a combined process of aging in oak containers and the bottle. A minimum period of twelve months is established for the wine to be kept in oak containers.

Use of the word “GRAN RESERVA” on the back label: the wine must be a minimum of five calendar years old, during which time it is subject to a combined process of aging in oak containers and the bottle. A minimum period of eighteen months is established for the wine to be kept in oak containers.

The words criado, aged or matured correspond to a demand of the consumer by which the winery adjust the wine’s profile to a combined ageing process where wine remains in barrel and in bottle. The process follows strict guidelines and control of the Designation of Origin.

Rosé

Made with the varieties Tinta de Toro and Grenache, with a minimum of 75% Tinta de Toro and the rest of Grenache or Grenache 100 %. Made by the traditional method of bleeding with cold maceration to keep all the flavor of the varieties, and after that low temperature fermentation.

Denominación de Origen Toro

White

Made from Malvasia and Verdejo varieties, with a minimum of 85% Malvasia and the rest Verdejo, or also Verdejo 100 %. Produced using a pneumatic press with a shorta and cold maceration to keep all the flavor of the varieties. After that, the must is fermented at low temperature to preserve the hole potential aromatic.
